ITC India Fellowship

The 2 nd edition of International Test Conference India will bring together stakeholders from industry and academia to present advances in Design-for-Test and Test Engineering to the broader community of DFT folks in India. ITC India is being conducted for the second time in July this year after a successful first edition last year under the aegis of International Test Conference.

This conference is a unique international platform that’s a confluence of all stake holders of the ecosystem – Industry, Academia, Researchers, Innovators, Regulators – coming together to present and discuss current topics in Design for Test and Test Engineering in the form of intensive tutorials, extensive presentations sessions along with exhibits, panel discussions, invited talks and keynotes.

To encourage the Electronics Engineering faculty members and research scholars who are actively contributing to education and research in VLSI Design and Test thus helping the industry in the long run, the organizing committee of ITC India is happy to announce the availability of fellowships to deserving candidates to help them to interact with industry experts, tap the knowledge from the innovative minds, share their experiences and then fuel the further research growth and increase the interest among the students in the core technologies of DFT.

The ITC India organizing committee is earnestly aiming to award the fellowships to the highest number of aspiring candidates compared to any other conference conducted so far, with the support of the Texas Instruments India Pvt Ltd, ON Semiconductor, and AMD as the corporate sponsors and optimally balancing the budget. Following are the details of this fellowship opportunity.

Important guidelines:

Applications will be considered on first-come first-served basis.
Those research scholars or faculty members who submitted paper to this conference and if the same is accepted get preference for the award of fellowship.
The research scholars applying for the fellowship award must be involved in research areas related to VLSI Design & Test and preferably aligning with the topics of technical tracks or theme of the conference.
The faculty members applying for the fellowship award must have been associated in teaching or guiding research projects in VLSI Design & Test and taken active part in conducting workshops or seminars in these areas.
While the conference organizing committee is interested in reimbursing travel expenses for fellowship awardees from the distant cities/towns, budget limitations may permit reimbursing these expenses only to some extent. Hence aspiring candidates for fellowship award are advised to opt for these reimbursements only on the need basis as your genuine discretion would help organizing committee to award fellowship to more aspirants.
Fellowship registration amount and travel reimbursements if any and approved will be paid on 24 th July, 2018.
For Faculty Members : Travel expenses if approved for reimbursement will be calculated as per shortest route of travel by AC 3-Tier in Train or by flight upto a maximum of Rs.5,000/- or actuals (whichever is lower)
For Students : Travel expenses if approved for reimbursement will be calculated as per shortest route of travel by AC 3-Tier/Sleeper class in Train or by AC semi-sleeper bus upto a maximum of Rs. 2,000/- or actuals (whichever is lower)
Accommodation arrangement would have to be made by the faculty members and students.
Attendance must be strictly adhered to, to avail reimbursements and refunds.
Identity card showing their affiliation is a must to get the reimbursement.
